The most beautiful beaches of San Teodoro

With 36 Kilometers coast, San Teodoro is one of the most famous places of Sardinia most of all for its wonderful beaches, in no way inferior to the most celebrated beaches of Costa Smeralda.

In summer (and particularly in August) beaches are crowded but in spite of everything, they don't lose any charm thanks to the clearness of the sea, the rose-coloured rocks and the special white color of sand.

La Cinta beach in San Teodoro

La Cinta is 5 Km long and could be considered the first principal symbol of the town. Located close to the centre, La Cinta is the most famous and frequented beach of San Teodoro. The multicoloured sea, the delicacy of sand and the island of Tavolara in the background with all the services make La Cinta one of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia.

L'Isuledda beach in San Teodoro

L'Isuledda beach is situated only 1 Km from the centre. This kind of beach is shorter than La Cinta with sharp sand. It's very fascinating because of the particular blue-coloured sea and the presence of junipers on the dunes. Considered one of the most preferred beaches with all the services tourism need.

Lu Impostu beach in San Teodoro

Lu Impostu beach could be reached driving on the main road "S.S. 125" towards Olbia. Arrived at "Lu Fraili" village, please take the road in direction of "Punta Aldia" or better the next for "Capo Coda Cavallo" in order to avoid the pond outlet. It's a very particular beach because of its arched shape; all services are present.

Together with La Cinta beach, Cala Brandinchi is doubtless the most fascinating of the coast. The beach, particular for its fine sand and the special turquoise color of the sea, is even named "Tahiti" thanks to its characteristics. It could be reached driving on the main road "S.S. 125" towards Olbia and taking the direction of "Capo Coda Cavallo". After having taken the road in direction of "Capo Coda Cavallo", it's possible to join the beach after having parked the car in a private parking place.

Cala Girgolu and all the coves, surrounded by junipers and special rose-coloured granite rocks, are considered the most fascinating spots of San Teodoro. These places could be reached driving on the main road "S.S. 125" towards Olbia and taking a secondary road on the right in Montepetrosu. After 1.5 Km it will be possible to look the special scenery of this coast.
